Today is October 4. My current project is listening to my Rush and Yes albums in order, alternating between bands. So I started with Rush, then Yes, then Fly By Night, then Time and a Word... you get the idea. Right now I just put in the second disc of Yessongs, with the dread bass solo. The first time I heard that track, I was in bed with my headphones on, and I had the windows open. There is a part where an audience member or someone coughs right into the microphone and I swear it sounded like they were right outside my window! Talk about freaky =)

Speaking of freaky, I've been watching Freaks and Geeks on Fox Family Channel (coincidentally also the home of Angela Anaconda!). It's a great show. They even have Rush references! Although I find it hard to believe that anyone who is a supposed Rush fan *and* great drummer would mispronounce "Neil Peart." Not trying to knock Nick Andopolis, just sayin'. He should know better. But the coolest character on the show is definitely.... BILL! Bill Haverchuck is the man! He has all the coolest quotes too. Like, "Um, we're sort of here to beat you up." And others. When I have time I will make a big honkin' funny page of Bill quotes. Harris is pretty funny too. He looks exactly like this guy who was in my math class last year. But I HATE HATE HATE Kim Kelly. She is so evil! And un-funny. Plus I think Lindsey should try to combine being a Mathlete with hanging out with her weird friends. Lord knows I did. Well, I was in Academic Decathlon which is in the same vein. Plus I was a cheerleader! Over half our AD team was current or former cheerleaders. I thought that was pretty cool. Stereotypes suck.

Well that's about it for today. Can't wait for Geddy Lee's new album. In stores November 14! Yeeaaahh!

Today is October 5. I like telnet and C++. If you want to learn how to make a web page I can help! I play the chimes. Today, the band director said, "Good, Chimes," because he does not know my name. Either that or he thought the chimes were good.

Did you know that I have some friends who live in Towers? Their names are Lori and Peter. Plus cool Physics guy Shannon.

Today is October 9. Happy Birthday to Steve Burns of Blue's Clues. Check out the site, even if they did go a bit Shockwave-crazy.
Retreat this Fri. Woo-hoo!

Today is October 22. I will be old in two weeks. Work really sucked today. Everyone was fighting and it was totally stressful. Basically, we got killed due to the large amount of STUPID STUPID customers. It wouldn't be so bad if we had patient, polite customers who could read a sign. But no. We get: idiots.. And you know what, Mr. Burns is right, there are too many fat children. And of course they all have to eat buffet!
No, there were some bright spots of the day. Let me think. I ate some pineapple! And...it did eventually end, after all. Anyway, no more thoughts of the deli until next Saturday, when I hope to God it is an away game =)
Right now, I'm listening to the Little Feat album Dixie Chicken. Gotta love that Southern Rock. The title track is especially cool.
Tomorrow I go see me advisor, Dana Haugli. He's a really cool guy. Makes me sad that one day I'll have to declare a major and get an advisor from that department...who I will never meet, apparently. Oh well.
To your left is a cool thing I made. It is a graph of y=0.1*theta, theta goes from zero to twenty. Since I did it while I was supposed to be doing my Calculus homework, I made it be a link to my mathclass homepage. It's not much of a homepage, actually. It's more of a directory. (You laugh here. That is if you like computer-type jokes. I know *I* do.)
Speaking of "I do," I would like to formally end this transmission thusly:

Sincerely yours,
The future Mrs. Christopher Lee Rohloff

Today is October 27 and I'm in a really good mood. I just left my fun Physics 222 lecture where I ate 2 Tootsie rolls (courtesy of my friend Shawn. My other activities included "borrowing" a box of matches, pretending to nap on Shawn's shoulder, and laughing like an idiot. Then on the way home I was praised by cool guy Jon for my randomness. yaay! Now I'm listening to Celebrity Jeopardy and it's really funny.

plus one of the all-time classic quotes:
"Pick Swords"

Speaking of funny SNL stuff, last night I was watching one of the re-runs on Comedy Central and they had the Biography of Tiger Woods so I started taping it and it had the Pat Benetar quote! Sweet! But I still want to see the shotgunning a beer part.

Later tonight, Angie and I are going to see one of my favorite musicals of all time, Pirates of Penzance. Should be a good time.

The other day I bought this really cool puppet. It is a Rabbit in Hat Puppet, made possible by the good people at Folkmanis. If you go to the awards section of their site, you can also see all the awards the awesome rabbit in hat has won. I liked it because it is a rabbit, but also due to the great Rush album Presto. Back to puppets, I also have a nice bee puppet from the same company. It's like a glove with 6 fingers and the body of a bee on it. Also, I really want a quality squirrel puppet so if you know of one, let me know. C++ stil rules.

Today is October 30 and I'm bored. I have a math test to study for but I don't really want to. As long as it goes better than the last test, I don't really care.

Some information on this page was recently (11.6.00) removed due to the fact that guys suck.
(NP: Monster Ballads) Soon I'm going to do a big overhaul on my site. I'll bring over all the cool content from Tripod, and we'll have a grand old time.
