Worst Mustardayonnaise Party Ever
mood:   fine
Today is January 26. Apparently I do not give a crap at all about blogging anymore. I just checked the previous date - the 12th? That's like two weeks ago. Sheeyit.

Well I had an idea to make a blog entry about every Netflix rental I get, just to generate some content. Last night when I got home from work, a disc of Trailer Park Boys was waiting for me (whoa, imagine what a Netflix ad with those weirdos would be like!) and so I watched a couple episodes before I got too tired and had to go to bed. I had moved the next disc in the series to the top of my queue after I spotted one of the Cambridge Ct. maintenance personnel on his golf cart and my first thought was, "Fuck off, Lahey." So another good quote to go with "Gimme back my kitty!" This show is *so* dumb, but yet I can't stop watching it. I like when they pick on no-shirt Randy.

Also I wanted to talk about the latest Strong Bad email. It seriously made me laugh out loud back here in the breakroom. And a shout-out to Mr. Dee Williams even. I can't wait til the next time I work with Faircloth and I can say "Wanted: Everyone I hate. Enquire within." B/c we like saying stuff to each other in Senor/SB voice. Like yesterday he was helping a guy set up a new computer and they made the cursor and the font size both bigger for vision reasons. And we created a new catchphrase which is "Big fonts mean big savings at the 4ppl3 St0r3!" (l33ted for your and my protection)

Today is January 12. Today I had the day off but I actually got some stuff done, ha ha. I did some laundry and now my apartment has a fresh mountain scent. In the later part of the day I went to a matinee showing of "Grandma's Boy." It had some good lines, but the monkey thing....I would feel better about that knowing they had the endorsement of Mr. Dane Cook. I mean, the way Dante calls out "Monkey??" is so reminiscent of "Monkey? Are you in there?" I bet if he would have done some punchup on the script it could have been even funnier. Another good thing was that the sort of sweetly dorky guy from Dodgeball (that loved Fran) played some kind of Matrix bastard. A cartoonish character not unlike the lines of White Goodman. And yes, technically, I went to see it at the Jordan Creek 20. But I took a different route than the way I take when I go to work, and went in a different door.

I am watching The Office right now with a purring Calypso in my lap. I have clean tee-shirts and life is good.

Things that are awesome

Today is January 9 and I am just hanging out. This morning I was working on organizing my iTunes - putting correct years on my 70's collection, finding some more artworks. Of course wiki is just about the best resource for that kind of stuff. I also discovered their "Day Pages" which is a page for each of the 366 days out there. Ego-me, one of my first stops was November 5. I knew about Bryan Adams and Ryan Adams having the same bday (heh) and that there was a holiday in the UK called Guy Fawkes day, but didn't know much about it. So I read up on that, and then also saw that there is a guitarist from Radiohead called Jonathan Richard Guy Greenwood who's also a member of the 11/05 club, so that's interesting. Then I was looking up my family's birthdays and discovered that my dad (1950) shares a birthday with NOT ONLY Charles Nelson Reilly (1931) BUT ALSO Rip Taylor (1934). So pretty much we should celebrate by donning an ascot and some big glasses, and throwing some confetti around, while cranking our favorite Rolling Stones albums. Maybe track down the home edition of "Match Game '75" or somesuch. And no green jello allowed =)

my dad hates green jello

Babe, tomorrow's so far away

Today is January 8. If you had looked at this page like up until a moment ago, you may very well have been asking "Where have you been?" "Where is your formatting?" "Can you show us your boobs?" Well truth be told I just finished day 7 of 7 at the store so I have been WORKING. Most of the days were pretty good, getting back to calmer during the week days. But yesterday and today (Sat/Sun) were just ultra crazy, so many attitudes or "high-maintenance" as some would say. Luckily Chad and I got through it and I only had to stab 1 or 2 people.

So today I came home and watched the Fox shows and ate some lemon pie. Well I had a sandwich and some carrots too. There were a few carrots left in the bag and C-po totally put his head in there and picked it up with his mouth and carried it around. I did a google search for cats+toxic+carrots and didn't see anything dire, so I figured it was both OK and cute.

I've been reading David Foster Wallace's "A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again" and it is very interesting. That boy loves his footnotes. I hope he is a happy guy in real life. Right now I'm watching Sex and the City. Don't know if I've ever admitted it on here but I like watching that show. I think SJP has just stolen "Tag" from Tv's Rachel Green. That girl cannot get a break. (OK as I searched imdb to find the link it turns out he was on this show before Friends.....but I watched Friends first so by my mind it was first)

Also on the cats and people food front, I think C-po has a ranch tooth. Or it could just be an extension of his general enjoyment for licking. In this scene, Charlotte has a graphite clamshell iBook (not sure if it's an original or an SE like Swoopy). Hopefully she is smart enough to do her data backups.

Mood: Stuff-ed up
Today is January 3. I am feeling sick these days. All congested. Will someone please drill a hole in my head and let this evil out?
